Baseball is Back!

Dodger baseball is back!

Hey guys,

I just wanted to give you all a quick introduction.  My name is Bert Fairman, I’m 29 years old and I’m a die-hard Dodger fan.  In fact, the first time I scraped my knee as a child, my blood was actually Dodger blue.  No joke (OK maybe a little).

I’ve started this blog for a number of reasons.  First and foremost, I’ve always enjoyed writing and what better topic to write about than our beloved Dodgers?!  I also wanted to start a blog to vent.  I am not an angry person by any means, but one thing that really gets to me is losing…specifically when the Dodgers lose (and they’ve done a lot of that the past 28 years!); therefore, I convinced my wife to allow me to spend (potentially) hours a day blogging as well as watching Dodger games and, in return, I am not allowed to have any outward bursts of anger in regards to baseball (wish me luck!).  Most importantly, I want to interact with fellow Dodger fans – hear their experiences, listen to their stories, celebrate in the victories and grieve after the losses.  I’ll try my best to update after every game (or nearly every one!) and incorporate other fun interactive posts as well.

I hope you all enjoy my blog and will continue to come back hungry for more!  I already have a list of different topics I want to discuss.  More to come.  For now, just sit back, relax and enjoy the games!
